Kendama

Hong Kong, July 2015

Here is me with a Kendama (劍玉 / けん玉) I bought from a souvenir shop close to the bamboo grove in Kyoto. I am addicted to it. Hope it can polish my skill to become a Samurai or Ninja. I prefer being a samurai but I think I am better at being a Ninja.

I thought of a tagline from Alien:
In space no one can hear you scream.

Theremin

L'apres-midi gallery, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, July 2015

I saw this instrument once in a russian movie (Ангелы революции) before. Just now I googled it. According to wikipedia, it is called Theremin (Терменвокс), named after a Russian and Soviet inventor, Léon Theremin. It is also one of the first electronic music instruments in the world. Here are Youtube links to somewhere over the rainbow and Mozart's piano concerto played by a theremin which sounds really beautiful with the beautiful hand movement. I want to see a clip of Angely Revolyutsii again, in which Polina was playing a theremin before the gun pointed at her, but a pity that I found nothing.

The kimono bag

Hong Kong, July 2015

This kimono bag is from a random souvenir shop in Kyoto and costed me <hk$100. I like its pattern. Its volume is enough for me to carry = wallet + phone + pen + notebook + key + lip balm + hand cream + analog camera + film + tissue paper. I didn't get the fan from japan but it's from Muji.

Trains to Koyasan

On the way to Koyasan, Osaka, Japan, June 2015
If a body catch a body coming through the rye.
If you know which book i am talking, turn to p.194. Chapter 25 is my favourite. I weep a little bit every time I read it, if you want to know the truth.

Step out

Mason and Ronny in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, March 2014

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,我便一直很想去冰島。
Yesterday I received a postcard from Ronny sent from Reykjavik. Since watching The Secret Life of Walter Mitty in January 2014, I have been interested in visiting this country. There is one scene that Mitty played skateboard with this song as background music. I will learn how to drive. I will quit my job. I will fly to the capital with a stopover at somewhere. I will rent a car and drive to somewhere. I will pull over the car, sit at somewhere and eat take-away sushi. But I worry that Iceland doesn't have sushi, then i need to smuggle some from Hong Kong. Another problem is this country has a really high living cost. It will cost me lots of dough to rent a place, a car, a bike... I want to learn playing harmonica for at least one song.

Fly me somewhere nice

Sai Kung, Hong Kong, July 2015

Nothing

Inside a tram, Hong Kong, March 2014

If end up you have nothing, you deserve it. There is always a reason for everything. Nothing happens from nothing. Like, if someone replies you "Nothing", he/she is lying. At least this is what I always believe in.
