The lonely city

幾個月前去了看孤城淚。

A few months ago, I went for a movie called Les Misérables (2019 film, not the classic one). The Hong Kong name literally means tears of a lonely city.

四周都是警察。/ Police are everywhere. 貓。/ Cat.
很疲倦，想執筆練畫都有心無力。雖然沒有快樂的感覺，都說聲中秋快樂。希望秋天來到後，一切安好。就快睡了，晚安。

大家都很努力地生活。可能叫生存會比較合適。

Everyone is working so hard for their lives. It may be more proper to say they are working hard to survive.

但我仍很喜歡香港。/ But I still like Hong Kong a lot.可能有人在山上行山。/ Maybe there were people hiking.意志是是自由，但身體不是。/ Mind is free but the body isn't.

很久沒有在這裏談音樂。今天第一次聽Deerhunter的Agoraphobia，便覺得很感動，很恨自己。真的很好聽，今天內已聽了很多很多次。

 浦上滿《《北齋漫畫》與狂人畫家的一生》

「在實際看到東西前，什麼都不能說，也無法保證。」

其實原文是日本收藏家浦上滿講關於收藏《北齋漫畫》的心得，但當中的這一句很有意思，不單是作為收藏家應該要注意，作為普通人為人處事時都要注意。很喜歡這句話。

This quote roughly means, "Before seeing it with your eyes, you can't say a thing nor guarantee anything." The original passage is from a book (no English version) written by a Japanese art collector Mitsuru Uragami (浦上満), talking about his experience of collecting "Hokusai Mange (北斎漫画)".

以下是8月時我沿途見到而又想影低的事物。近來很小影相了。

原來已經8月了，一年又快過去了。這一年來都過得不太好。

Below are the bits and pieces I saw on the way and wanted to remember in August. Recently I rarely take photos.

It's August. A year nearly comes to an end. This year is so far a bad one to me.

散落在地上的鳳凰木花瓣。前一晚下過場大雨。/ The petals of Royal poinciana fallen on the ground. The night before, it rained heavily.仍在樹上的花。/ The flowers still on the trees.見到一隻在休息的貓，之後都沒有再見過他/她了。/ A cat resting. I haven't seen him/her afterwards. 寂寞。/ Lonely.在日光下作沙浴的麻雀。可愛。/ A sparrow taking a sand bath under the sun. Very cute.這套衫看起來很怪。/ This set of outfit looks weird.很喜歡這些招牌。/ I like these signs.

4月時胃痛，最近又胃痛，都是因為心理質素差所以胃痛。沒辦法，只可以繼績加油。

同一日影的。 這次是大花紫薇，其中一個英文名稱的意思是「印度的自豪」。

原來已有超過一星期沒有打blog。很想去旅行，很想去以前去過的地方，很想再搭那一架纜車上高野山。

Shot on the same day. Giant Crepe-myrtle has another name which is the Pride of India.

I didn't blog for more than a week. I want to travel, go to the places I visited and take that tram to Koya-san again.

我的手不美麗，關節很粗。我很喜歡有點骨感的手，但不要太瘦，剛剛好就好了。

今晚月亮很光，不過有點矇，接下來的日子應該會下雨吧。

My hands are not beautiful because of my big joints.
當時還未有限聚令，與一些很久沒見的人一起吃蝦。/ The government had not yet banned public gathering of more than 2 people at that moment. I was eating shrimps with some people who I had not seen for a long time.

人生中大部分時間都是不快樂地度過，真是非常可惜。就好像有一個問題，應該要懂得放低，但因為腦海還是會間中想起而令自己不愉快，真是非常可惜。
